Histor-ween Again!

jim News

For the third year, the Historical Society presented a spooky, fun, informative event for your enjoyment October 24 and 26. Histor-ween entertained guests with a Spook House in the old FISD home economics cottage, an entertaining reenactment on the Perry Museum front porch, and a guided tour through the Cemetery where several cemetery residents came alive to tell their story. The evening was topped off with a real hayride back to your car.

Many folks are due THANKS for contributing to its success. Board member Bruce Blackwell was overseer of the event that involved dozens of volunteers, including members of several high school clubs, and adult residents. Kimberly Culver was responsible for the unique grave visits. And special thanks to you, the audience. The proceeds from the event will be shared by the Society and the high school clubs.
